I am a Jacksonville native, from a military family. Although we moved extensively during my childhood years, Jacksonville has always been my home. I received my Bachelors and two Master's degrees in Education from Jacksonville University and UNF-Jacksonville. I retired in 2006 after 35 years in the Duval County school system as a teacher and high school principal. Since retiring, I have also worked as an Educational Consultant for the State of Florida, Duval County, and private consulting firms.

Although now widowed, I am blessed with four children and seven grandchildren, whom I enjoy going to visit every chance I get. I enjoy daily exercise walks, snorkeling, fishing, traveling, and taking pleasure cruises.

I embarked on a second career because I'm just too much of a “people person” to sit at home, and chose real estate at the suggestion of my family, who felt I had the drive, perseverance, and personality to help people find their perfect home. Indeed what I love about real estate is the same thing I loved about education: working with people and helping them make their dreams come true. Century 21 Lighthouse Realty was an obvious fit due to their focus on education and training of their agents, making them the best and most professional in the business, as evidence by their multiple J.D. Power awards.
